These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) govern your access to and use of the ECO CLOTHING website and your purchase of products through our online store.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or place an order.

1. About ECO CLOTHING

ECO CLOTHING is an individual/proprietorship clothing business owned and operated by Sunitha.

We currently offer physical clothing products, including:

  • Linen sarees
  • Kurtis
  • Frocks
  • Other women’s clothing products that may be added to our website from time to time

We sell and deliver products to customers across India.

2. Eligibility

Customers may use our website and purchase products in accordance with applicable law.

Where a person below the applicable age is permitted to use the website or purchase products with parental or guardian involvement, the parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising the transaction and ensuring compliance with these Terms.

Customers must provide accurate and complete information when placing an order.

3. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

However:

  • Product colours may vary slightly because of photography, lighting, display settings and individual device screens.
  • Minor variations in fabric texture, weave, print or appearance may occur.
  • Such minor variations will not automatically constitute a defect.
  • Product availability and information may change from time to time.

We do not guarantee that every photograph or screen representation will exactly reproduce the physical colour or appearance of a product.

4. Product Quality and Care

Customers should follow the fabric-care and washing instructions provided with or for the relevant product.

ECO CLOTHING is not responsible for damage resulting from:

  • Failure to follow care instructions
  • Improper washing
  • Improper drying
  • Improper ironing
  • Improper storage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Customer misuse
  • Colour changes caused by inappropriate care

Such circumstances will generally not be treated as manufacturing defects.

5. Prices and Taxes

Product prices displayed on the website are the prices applicable to the relevant products at the time of purchase, subject to errors or changes.

ECO CLOTHING is currently not registered under GST.

Shipping charges are additional where applicable and will be communicated to the customer before completion of the order.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or technical errors. Where a material pricing error affects an order, we may contact the customer and, where necessary, cancel the affected order and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable law.

6. Payment

We currently accept payment methods made available through the website, including:

  • UPI
  • Debit card
  • Net banking

Cash on Delivery is not available.

Orders are treated as accepted after successful payment, subject to these Terms and any exceptional circumstances described in these Terms.

Customers must not use fraudulent payment methods or attempt unauthorized transactions.

7. Order Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted during checkout is accurate, including:

  • Name
  • Mobile number
  • Email address
  • Billing information
  • Shipping address

ECO CLOTHING is not responsible for delays or delivery failures caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.

Customers should contact us as soon as possible if they discover an error in their order or delivery information.

8. Order Cancellation by Customer

Customers may request cancellation within 24 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not already been dispatched.

No cancellation fee will normally be charged for an eligible cancellation requested before dispatch.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be available through the standard cancellation process.

Any cancellation or refund will remain subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the order.

9. Cancellation by ECO CLOTHING

ECO CLOTHING may cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, including where:

  • A product unexpectedly becomes unavailable
  • There is a genuine technical or system error
  • A material pricing error has occurred
  • The transaction appears fraudulent or unauthorized
  • The customer has provided materially incorrect information
  • Fulfilment becomes impossible for reasons beyond our reasonable control

If a product unexpectedly becomes unavailable, ECO CLOTHING may contact the customer and, with the customer’s consent, offer the option of treating the purchase as a pre-booking.

Where an order is cancelled and a refund is legally or contractually due, the applicable amount will be refunded through an appropriate payment method.

10. Shipping and Delivery

ECO CLOTHING provides delivery across India.

The standard estimated delivery period is:

5–7 business days

An estimated delivery date may also be displayed at checkout.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary because of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Courier delays
  • Weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Public holidays
  • Strikes
  • Government restrictions
  • Incorrect customer information
  • Other circumstances affecting logistics

We will make reasonable efforts to support customers where delivery problems occur.

11. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are payable by the customer unless a specific promotion states otherwise.

Any applicable shipping charge will be communicated during the purchase process.

For an approved defective, damaged or incorrect-product claim, the applicable return/pickup shipping cost will be borne by ECO CLOTHING.

12. P.O. Boxes

Delivery to P.O. boxes is not currently supported.

Customers should provide a complete physical delivery address capable of receiving courier shipments.

13. Refused or Failed Delivery

Customers should accept deliveries placed through ECO CLOTHING unless there is a legitimate reason for refusing the shipment.

Where a customer refuses or intentionally prevents delivery without a legitimate reason, the order may be treated as a failed delivery.

Any refund or other remedy will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the order.

14. Return Policy

ECO CLOTHING does not offer general or change-of-mind returns.

Returns are accepted only where the product is:

  • Defective
  • Damaged
  • Incorrectly supplied

The issue must normally be reported within 7 days from the date of delivery.

The product must be unused and unwashed.

Products that have been worn, washed, altered, damaged through customer use or otherwise fail the applicable return conditions may not qualify for a return or replacement.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.

15. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a defective, damaged or incorrect product, contact ECO CLOTHING as soon as possible and within the applicable 7-day period.

Please provide:

  • Order number
  • Customer name
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photographs
  • Unboxing video, where applicable and available

The information provided will help us assess the claim.

ECO CLOTHING may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the issue.

16. Replacement or Refund

Where a defective, damaged or incorrect-product claim is approved, the customer may choose, subject to availability and applicable law:

  • A replacement, or
  • A refund

For an approved claim, ECO CLOTHING will bear the applicable return/pickup shipping cost.

If a replacement is selected but the same product is unavailable, ECO CLOTHING may offer an appropriate alternative or refund.

17. Refunds

For an approved defective, damaged or incorrect-product claim, the refund may include:

  • The amount paid for the affected product, and
  • The original shipping charge paid by the customer for that order

Approved refunds will normally be initiated within 3 business days after the return/claim has been approved.

Refunds will generally be processed through UPI or another appropriate payment method communicated by ECO CLOTHING.

The time required for the refunded amount to actually appear in the customer’s account may depend on the relevant payment provider or banking system.

18. Non-Returnable Situations

Returns will generally not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind
  • Change of preference
  • Product that is not defective
  • Products that have been washed
  • Products that have been worn or used
  • Damage caused by customer misuse
  • Damage caused by failure to follow care instructions
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Colour changes caused by improper care
  • Products altered or modified by the customer

These exclusions are subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

19. Exchanges

ECO CLOTHING does not offer general exchanges.

For an approved defective, damaged or incorrect-product claim, the customer may request a replacement in accordance with Section 16.

20. Promotions and Coupons

ECO CLOTHING may offer promotional discounts, coupon codes, festival offers or other promotional campaigns.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotional offers may have specific terms.
  • Multiple coupon codes cannot be combined in one order.
  • A coupon may have an expiry date or usage restriction.
  • Promotions may be limited by product, quantity, customer or order value.
  • ECO CLOTHING may modify or discontinue a promotion, subject to applicable law.
  • Promotional products may have specific return or refund conditions disclosed with the promotion.

The terms displayed for a particular promotion will apply to that promotion.

21. Reviews and Customer Content

Customers may submit genuine reviews and other permitted content.

Reviews should be truthful and based on the customer’s actual experience.

Customers must not submit:

  • Fake reviews
  • Misleading content
  • Abusive or offensive content

  • Spam

Customers retain ownership of their content.
